Activities & FAQ

At the Centre of Love, our gatherings go beyond Sunday connection. We offer a range of ongoing activities that nourish the body, mind, and spirit, helping members deepen their journey in community.

Here’s a look at some of the ways we come together.

Community Activities

At the Centre of Love, we offer a variety of enriching experiences designed to foster connection, well-being, and personal growth. Our gatherings include regular meditation and prayer sessions, creating a peaceful space for reflection and spiritual alignment. We also host exercise classes that support physical vitality and holistic health.

Journaling workshops invite members to explore their inner world, gaining insight through written reflection. Book and movie discussions provide opportunities to engage with spiritual themes and spark meaningful conversations that inspire and uplift.

Creative expression is celebrated through artistic workshops, where members are encouraged to explore their talents and share their creations. We also embrace the healing power of nature through group activities such as gardening and nature walks.

Sharing meals is a cherished tradition, bringing us together around nourishing food and heartfelt connection. Ceremonies and rituals are woven throughout our community life, honoring Light, Love, and the sacred rhythm of being. These shared experiences strengthen our bonds, deepen our awareness, and support each individual on their path of awakening.

Meditation and Prayer

Our meditation and prayer sessions are designed to provide a peaceful environment for introspection and spiritual growth. These gatherings help members align with their inner selves and the greater universe.

Creative Workshops

Our creative workshops offer a space for artistic expression, where members can explore their creativity through various forms of art, fostering a sense of accomplishment and joy.

Nature Connection

Connecting with nature is a vital part of our community activities. We organize gardening projects and nature walks to help members appreciate the beauty of the natural world and find peace and inspiration.

Sacred Writing

Reading sacred writings from all faith traditions, contemplating their meaning, and deploying their principles in our lives in the service of love and unity is a central practice in our community.

FAQ

Who is our ideal member?

People who are open-hearted, curious, and humble; people who believe that unity and cooperation – not division and antagonism – are the way forward and the ingredients for a rich, fulfilling life of infinite potential; artists; seekers of Truth; lovers of wisdom; those who are spiritual-but-not-religious.

People who identify or follow a certain spiritual path but have no official “home” to call their own; and in short, anyone who agrees that All is One and Love is the Way.

What are people expected to bring or contribute to the Centre?

People are expected to bring their whole, authentic selves, in whatever mood or condition they may be presently; and, to share their gifts in service to the community and our goal, to sow and cultivate love in all we do, everywhere we go. Ultimately, your presence is the ultimate gift.
